No one likes to go to the dentist, but I have always had a great experience here. So much that even when I moved all the way to Maryland, Ashburn Family & Cosmetic Dentistry, NOW “Ashburn Dentistry by Design,” still remains my Dentist. Dr. Parsa was really personable. She & her assistant Emma both made the appointment more relaxing for me and paid close attention to my responses. The ladies at the front desk were also great in listening with care at any concerns I had. Thank you all.

After being a patient of this practice for nearly 20 years, I finally felt compelled to write a review after our experience today. My daughter fell and broke her front tooth late last night. I called the office first thing in the morning at 7am and spoke with Diana, who was so kind and immediately found a way to fit us in by noon. My daughter’s injury was severe enough to require a root canal and composite bonding. Thankfully, Dr. Khalil, the new owner of the practice, was there to take on her case. He isn’t just a general dentist, he’s also a prosthodontist with extensive training in restorative, cosmetic, and implant dentistry. From the start, I was impressed not only with his expertise but also with his warmth and bedside manner. He took the time to explain everything clearly while also teaching his staff who were shadowing him that day. I could tell his goal is to raise the standard across the whole practice. The entire team was wonderful, attentive, compassionate, and reassuring during a stressful situation. Sarah, Dr. Khalil’s assistant, was especially kind and gentle with my daughter, and Christina showed so much empathy and care. The quality of the work was excellent. On top of that, Dr. Khalil personally gave me his cell phone number in case we had any questions or concerns, and he even called us that evening to check on how my daughter was doing. I left feeling so grateful for the outstanding care and compassion we received today. Very impressed and truly thankful for this team.

I have not had great experiences with dentists in the past, but through the work of Dr. Khalil and Allan, his assistant, who were totally a vibe, they made my visits so painless! The staff (Stephanie, Christina, and Diana) was amazing! They have made it easier to not have a nuclear meltdown when I go to the dentist. I no longer have a fear of the dentist!

Apart from the excellent skills of the dentists and hygienists of this dental clinic who have been taking care of my teeth since a few years ago, the office staff (Christina, Stefania, and Diana, in particular) are amazing! Their genuine concern about the patients became clearer recently when I had an issue with my insurance company. I truly appreciate their effort to assure me that they are on my side.

Can’t say enough good things about Ashburn Dentistry by Design. As soon as you walk in the door, all the receptionists are extremely kind and eager to help! Diana is absolutely amazing and helpful every time I come. She always takes care of me with scheduling and billing, giving me the best service I need. She always makes me feel less stressed about coming in.

I came in on a Thursday—left work because I was in dire pain—and they immediately saw me and took care of me. I had a broken tooth, and they pulled one tooth and gave me a root canal on another immediately. Dr. Obregon was amazing and immediately relieved my pain. I’m very thankful—she even stayed a little late to make sure my teeth were feeling better! The dental assistant, Stephanie, was very kind and helpful both times I’ve come in.

My whole family—my two boys and my husband—always choose this dentist due to the pure professionalism and help during emergencies when we need them. Definitely recommend them to friends and family! My husband came in a few months ago, and a male doctor saw him and saved two of his teeth instead of pulling them. He was extremely happy about it.

I would like to take a moment to share how friendly and enjoyable your whole team has been to me every time I come to the office. Diana (aka- Wonder Woman) and Stefania are very professional and fun to talk to as well. Hemal performed my cleaning today and she was so good I am having my wife see her next time!! I’ve been going to the dentist for years and only in the last 15 years have I experienced sensitivity on my teeth. No one and I mean NO ONE has offered to numb my gums prior to cleaning. I was able to relax and not stress about the cold water on my teeth and gums! WOW such thoughtfulness and it was 1000% less painful. I would only go once every two years and now, I won’t miss an appointment. My mouth and teeth feel so clean! From the front office staff to the dentist. This place is the best! Thank you!!!

I recently had an apicoectomy performed by Dr. Khalil, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the care I received from him and his assistant Sarah. I was nervous leading up to the procedure, but Dr. Khalil took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. His calm and professional manner put me at ease. Sarah was equally wonderful—compassionate, kind, and attentive. Her presence made the experience feel far less daunting….It’s rare to find a medical team that combines technical skill with such heartfelt care. I’m thankful for their support and highly recommend them to anyone in need of oral surgery.
