Dr. Maria Obregon brings a warm, compassionate approach to our team at Ashburn Dentistry by Design. Originally from Nicaragua, Dr. Obregon earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Universidad Americana in Managua, Nicaragua. After moving to the United States, she went on to complete her Doctor of Dental Medicine at Tufts School of Dental Medicine in Boston.
Dr. Maria Obregon has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and is passionate about helping patients restore their confidence through beautiful, healthy smiles. Her own early experience with orthodontic treatment inspired her to pursue dentistry as a way to improve lives and foster meaningful patient relationships. She believes that dentistry blends both science and art, offering the opportunity to be creative while delivering high-quality care.
Outside the office, Dr. Obregon enjoys hiking, working out, salsa dancing, traveling and spending time with family and friends. She loves the Ashburn area for its mix of outdoor activities, local vineyards and close proximity to Washington, DC.
